While all of you are celebrating this special romantic day with your family, friends & that someone special you love, I would like to share my top three MAC red lipsticks. If you have read my previous blogs, you would have known by now that I love my red lipsticks. In no particular order, my favorites are:Ruby Woo, Russian Red and Chili lipstick. I will be also sharing how these lipsticks look on my skin tone.

Each red lipstick is special in its own way. They all make any lady feel beautiful and sexy. It could be bright red or orange red, matte or satin, day or night look, any kind of red lipstick can give you that instant sexy, classy, and sophisticated look.

There is always a perfect red lipstick for that special day/occasion of yours. It could be a date, meeting, wedding, casual day out or a night out with girlfriends.

Chili, Russian Red, Ruby Woo: These three lipsticks will definitely suit anyone with my skin tone (NC42-NC45) or even darker and deeper skin toned women. I have seen different skin toned women from light to dark looking absolutely stunning and gorgeous in these red lipsticks.

Chili 

Chili – ‘pretty’ & ‘hot’ red. Chili lipstick a versatile colour, which can be worn day or night, summer or winter, anytime and anywhere. It is a orangey red colour, which is of matte formulation and has beautiful vanilla fragrance. Chili is a not so bright red, which is great for someone who is hesitant to wear red lipstick.

Russian Red

Russian Red! Perfect true red, which is classic, timeless, bold & sexy colour. Russian Red is every Indian brides favourite red. Similar to Chili, Russian red too is a matte formulation, which is long lasting and pigmented. Even though it’s matte, it doesn’t overly dry my lips like the Ruby Woo. It’s creamy, with little shine and easily glides in your lips.

Ruby Woo

Ruby Woo is my first red lipstick and a MAC best seller. It’s every woman’s red lipstick. Ruby Woo is super bright, sexy, bold and classy red colour. It is a retro matte formulation,cool toned blue based, long lasting lipstick. This super matte lipstick will make your lips crave for moisture.

Chili, Russian Red & Ruby Woo lipsticks can be worn during day and night. I have worn all three lipsticks for a day look and also to glam up for a night look. I love wearing red lipsticks with simple eye makeup with a winged eyeliner. I am definitely sure all three lipsticks make my teeth whiter and my complexion brighter and fairer.

I would recommend to wear lip pencil for all three red lipstick. Wearing a lip pencil not only helps any lipstick last longer, but it also prevents and stops the lipstick from bleeding.I always exfoliate my lips and apply some lip balm to moisturise my lips before wearing a matte formula lipstick.  I use LUSH lip scrub and Vaseline lip balm to prepare my lips.

M.A.C Ruby Woo Lipstick

                    MAC’S RUBY WOO LIPSTICK! EVERY WOMAN’S RED LIPSTICK!

Today, I am going to discuss about my all time favourite red lipstick MAC Ruby Woo and how I wear this gorgeous stunning red lipstick. I will also share pictures of me wearing the Ruby Woo lipstick.

I only started wearing red lipstick in recent years. The truth is I was scared and worried how I might look with red lipstick and that it won’t suit my skin tone. I was proven wrong when my makeup artist made me wear red lip stick to match my red sari at my wedding.

Party makeup – simple classic makeup, winged eyeliner with Ruby Woo lipstick

Ruby Woo is my first red lipstick and I fell in love with this sexy, bold classy red, which I think women of every skin tone will rock with Ruby Woo lipstick. I have seen women with skin tones from light to dark looking absolutely stunning with this ravishing red lipstick.

MAC describes Ruby Woo as “Colour plus texture for the lips. Stands out on the runway. Simmers in the street! What made M.A.C Famous.”

Ruby Woo is MAC’s best selling lipstick. Ruby Woo is not a limited edition lipstick, so MAC will keep on producing this retro matte vivid red lipstick. MAC has now introduced a matching Ruby Woo lip pencil for £12.50

MAC Ruby Woo lipstick is a pigmented, retro matte, blue based red lipstick. This is a long-lasting, super, super, extremely matte lipstick which will make your lips crave for moisture. So it’s very important that you moisturise your lips prior to wearing ruby woo lipstick.

If you have dry, flaky or chapped lips, I would recommend that you try this lipstick before you buy it.  I always exfoliate my lips and apply some kind of lip balm before wearing Ruby Woo lipstick. I use LUSH lip scrub and MAC Prep+Prime lip. You can even use Vaseline lip balm, which I am currently using as I have run out of my MAC Prep+Prime lip.

Because of its cool toned red and blue base red, I believe Ruby Woo lipstick makes your teeth whiter and your complexion fairer.

I love wearing Ruby Woo lipstick with simple eye makeup, winged eyeliner, or an added dash of colour. I have worn it with blue kajal & blue eyeliner (which was my X’mas makeup).

Christmas Makeup – Blue  kajal and blue eyeliner with Ruby Woo Lipstick

I have worn Ruby Woo lipstick for a ‘day’ look and also to glam up for a ‘night out’ look.

Ruby Woo is a long lasting lipstick. To make the lipstick last longer, always wear lipstick along with lip pencil. I wear MAC prolongwear lip pencil ‘Kiss Me Quick’ with Ruby Woo lipstick. Wearing a lip pencil not only help any lipstick last longer, but it will also prevent and stop the lipstick from bleeding.

MAC Ruby Woo is definitely a red lipstick every woman should have in their lipstick collection.
